Volatile Organic Compounds.
Design of Landfill Gas Control systems for migration and odor problems
associated with landfill gas.
Design of various low pressure scrubbing and absorption systems to control
both odor and hazardous emissions generated by certain chemical processes.
Design of various wastewater treatment systems for the removal of
hazardous materials from petroleum refineries and chemical facilities,
cotton fiber from manufacturing processes, and solids from cement clinker
operations.
TECHNICAL SALES & APPLICATIONS ENGINEERING
Responsible for the technical sales of vapor control equipment, including
both recovery and destruction technologies, to meet the technical and
environmental applications of clients.
Responsible of making technical presentations to clients’ management in
an effort to encourage them that a correct decision was to invest in vapor
control equipment.
Responsible for negotiating contracts of sale with clients including six
blanket purchase agreements with major oil companies for the purchase of
vapor control equipment.
PROCESS ENGINEERING
Responsible for the start-up of a methylene di-phenyl di-isocyanate (MDI
urethane foam) chemical facility in the Netherlands.
Technical advisor to the East German Government for the installation and
start-up of a methylene di-phenyl di-isocyanate facility in the former
Soviet bloc country.
TECHNICAL WRITING
Author of technical papers and technical articles for trade magazines.
Editor of company newsletter circulated to clientele base.
Author of service bulletins, operations and maintenance manuals, and
proposals for equipment sales.
